STILL WORKING BEFORE LEAVING SLOVENIA
Before leaving Slovenia it is so much work still to do...getting into skiing mode, satisfying sponsors, getting my body healed up after a crash on bmx and cracked pelvius- bone that holds bot hips, hanging out with buddies i won't see till November,...

2 days ago i've been invited to do a show for Slovenian turist conference that was held in one of the most fancy hotels in Slovenia... Habakuk hotel in Maribor held our show in their own backyard by the pool in almost summer conditions

...the whole thing wasn't big, but looking cool enough...

...waxing my 4frnt skis to go faaaast...

...a bag is hard...so better put my knee brace on...

LESS THAN A MONTH

That's right...i am leaving Slovenia for a summer over here and i decided to spend it in Jindabyne on Perisher blue resort with some coaching and training and preparing myself for next winter season in Europe...After spending winter time in down under till October i will visit Bali's best waves in whole world and i cannot be more grateful for that...

SPRING SUMMER WINTER

finally getting back to this site...pretty much nothing has changed from Rambo air sesh...we tried to make it out 2 times more but weather wasn't really on our side so i decided to chill out after this long season...went on Kanin to shred with friends...


...tried some filming but unfortunately just one day late with too much slush already so...



...back on the road to our closed resort, best mountain ever, Vogel to do some filming and late season jumping...



We've tested a crane from our friend and the shots are looking so sick...We are really looking forward to shoot with this monster again (thanks to Luka Stanovnik and buddy Istenič MOfos)here is an edit how's crane working, unfortunately you can not see our shots, because they will be used in a movie.

...summer is coming really fast and i know it's gonna be boring without skiing... why not go to Croatia and learn how to surf on waves...best feeling ever after putting so much effort to come out on the spot,paddle hard, diving into the waves, coming out of hammering of so much water...and than finally catching the wave in a right moment and shred on it... i am really a rookie comparing to my buddies Matevž, Urša,Nejc,Domen,Mitja,Jure but i was so stoked on that that now only thing i am doing is asking what's the weather forecast everyday to catch the right timing for waves again...





...in the meantime there is always some bmx action in woods with Rok and others...this year dirt park got 40 take offs and some mini track on it...it cannot be better...


...and if the weather is not right...wake lift on a Krk was a good option this weekend with Robi, Jan,Rako,Ana,...doin some water tricks is definetly easier than coming on a surf spot or on Rambo air, but also fun...

Wazaaaap...the Kickstand is back with a new project going on in Slovenia! booyah...

This time i made a decision to speak with managers of Kanin mountain,the only one left with a snow for actually skiing and not only barbecueing...And we came out with a plan to get a big air jump done for us...It is actually the idea of us since the last year: to build a jump at the end of a season, have some good sessions with some sick filming and photoshooting going on and have tons of fun flying true the air...None of us actually didn't work on that so i decided to get us into managing mode and try to settle with the Kanin ski resort to build us a special jump (first one that size in Slovenia) so we can film for our new slovenian snb/ski movie coming out in fall...
The kicker is set on the only possible good location...the lift is not working on that area and we have lots of space and almost 7m of snow under our feet:) The views from some camera angles are sick and i am telling you that at the sunrise at 6am there will be some action going on in the air...

Check out the first 3 days progress with one cat and you will understand how excited i am everyday after work on mountain;

WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER

Yoooo...after 3 slovenian freeski tour comps i am back on track...feeling great to win the last comp and claim the whole tour which has gained respect in Slovenia in this season...i still have to figure out some sistem for me not organising things on comp day but...so i won 1st slopestyle stop, 3rd on halfpipe stop and 1st on big air stop...finally got some money to eat better meals again and to do some filming in next month...




Plans for summer???...at the moment i am waiting for confirmation to work as a ski instructor in Australia and than in september some training in New Zealand and some Bali surfing at the end of september...I hope this season will pay off for me in the next one with some better results and hopefully some more budget from sponsors to compete and film even more...

4FRNT

Since last year's ending with Salomon i've been without ski sponsor for almost whole this season. My true sponsor was 31gorillas.com with some Movement skis...Last month we talked to 4frnt guys and they were super cool with the idea me joining the team of one of the world's best ski brands. This brand is truly made by riders for the riders and some of the big names and pioneers of freeski revoulution are part of the company as well (Matt Sterbenz, Erik Hjorleifson, Cr Johnson, Vincent Dorion, Steel Spence,...).

So i am stoked to ride for 4frnt from now on and will try my best to present the brand's quality and not to do some same mistakes from the past.

Day in the Ghetto

What's up every body...Last week i was at invitational event in Czech republic...Was driving for 11 hours and almost crashed few times on the road but i managed to get to Deštne, small village in Czech mountains, which look like more the hills...Whole area is about 600-1000 m high and only the top is covered with a snow. That is why i wasn't expecting too much of this event when i was driving towards it.

But then i came and saw the setup and the whole thing blow me off. Was so stoked to see perfect shaped kicker with lots of air time, a bit skushy landing and super fast inrun....I was carried to my room by sweet redbull girls hosting....



Next day invited riders had only training and others qualifications (4 wild cards) so i was pretty much chilling and trying to figure out the speed in every conditions and also in switch riding...


The roullete was one of the most scariest things in the course, your destiny was made in few second when ball dropped on a number of the trick...for me and my opponent Pepe dropped on pretty cool tricks so we had fun but maybe judging wasn't so fair and he went through...

In the mean time we had soooo much fun with pirate crew (Szczepan Karpiel, Cory Hodges, Jamie Matthew, Bine Zalohar) and we enjoyed every second of this event...we were non stop all over the place hanging in rider are, hitting kicker in a group, trying to figure out what Czech chicks like, ...

At the end this was one of my best events in the season and i am stoked to hopefully ski it next year again.
